Alt-pop superstar Banks has been very quiet over the past few years, but now it looks like she’s finally ready to make her long-awaited return.
Taking to social media, the singer/songwriter posted an image of herself simply captioned with a date “MONDAY. 4.29” – it looks like we’re definitely getting our first new Banks song in three years come Monday.
We haven’t had new music from Banks since the release of her second album The Altar back in 2016. The lead single from that album, ‘Gemini Feed’, charted at #80 on 2016’s Triple J Hottest 100.
The last time Banks was in Australia was back in 2017, having played that year’s Splendour In The Grass. So fingers crossed this new music brings with it a new Aussie tour.
