Watch Audioslave & System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian Honour Chris Cornell With ‘Like A Stone’

The remaining members of Audioslave have paid tribute to their late frontman Chris Cornell by performing their song ‘Like A Stone’ with System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian.

Footage of the performance, which was captured at Germany’s Rock am Ring festival at the weekend, sees Tankian take up vocal dues on the classic Audioslave track, after a tribute from guitarist Tom Morello and the crowd in honour of Cornell. Watch it in full, below.

The remaining members of Audioslave — Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk — were performing at the festival as part of their new project Prophets Of Rage. The trio were also filmed rehearsing ‘Like A Stone’ in the studio last week.

Cornell died in a Detroit hotel room in May, and his widow Vicky Cornell has recently released an emotional statement about the musician’s toxicology results.
