Organisers of Victoria’s UNIFY Gathering heavy music festival have added four new acts to their 2019 lineup today, after removing I Killed The Prom Queen from their roster earlier this month.
American metalcore crew Every Time I Die have secured an exclusive set at UNIFY 2019, while UNIFY regulars Hellions, Perth band Saviour and Adelaide’s Falcifer have also joined the roster, taking the total number of acts to 32 over two nights.
UNIFY Gathering pulled I Killed The Prom Queen from its 2019 lineup on 10th August, after vocalist Michael Crafter — who was set to perform with the band at UNIFY as part of a one-night-only When Goodbye Means Forever… lineup reunion — apologised for a series of derogatory comments he made online.
Crafter later issued a statement addressing the band’s removal from the UNIFY lineup, saying, “Ikptq was removed from the festival for my past comments and I think being held to better standards is a good thing.”
The fifth instalment of UNIFY Gathering will hit up a brand new site in Tarwin Meadows, Victoria in January. Peep the full lineup and all the festival dates, below.
