Local rockers Skegss have added a string of five new shows to their upcoming national tour, and they’re especially for under 18s.
Skegss’ new under 18s shows will take place in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Leederville, as well as Sydney’s Spaghetti Fest.
“There isn’t enough shows put on for kids and all the fucking grown-ups make it hard to put on gigs for em, so bands are probs just like, ‘Nah fuck it,’” says bassist Toby Cregan.
“We have put in a bit of extra work and made sure we can play to everyone that wants to listen and have a good time.
“If I hadn’t gone to the all ages shows that my fav bands were putting on when I was a teenager I wouldn’t be in the band now, so it seems important to play these shows on the tour.”

The group’s new under 18s gigs come after handful of extra shows were added to their run of over 18s shows, to keep up with demand following the release of their Holiday Food EP. You can also catch those dates below.
