If you’ve been asking yourself “What’s old love Sia been up to of late?” (apart from dropping random bangers and readying for her first Australian tour in yonkers of course) here’s your answer.

The superhumanly talented Aussie expat is hard at work on a brand new Christmas album of all things, as well as directing her first feature film.

Now, the Chrissy album isn’t just going to be your stock-standard collection of cheesy covers of Chestnuts Roasting and Winter Wonderland (since when is anything Sia does ever stock-standard?) Nope, prepare to chuck your old carolling book out the window because Sia’s LP will be choc-a-bloc with new, original Yuletide classics penned by the hit-smith herself together with songwriting partner Greg Kurstin.

Stuff that down your chimney.

Meanwhile, our girl is also cooking up her big feature film directorial debut. Now details about the project are scant at the moment, but according to IMDB, it’s a drama dubbed Sister written & directed by Sia and starring her protege Maddie Ziegler together with Hollywood A-Lister Kate Hudson, and it’s set to hit screens in 2018 sometime.

But before that happens, you can catch Sia returning to Australia for her first tour in six years with an all-star lineup featuring Charli XCX, Danish artist  , Australia’s own Amy Shark and of course her talented mini-me Maddie Ziegler.
