King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard‘s new video for ‘Countdown’ is an incredible visual feast and it turns out it took creator Jason Galea a huge amount of time to make.

King Gizzard’s label Flightless Records has confirmed to Music Feeds that the video took Galea 300 hours and 2453 hand drawn frames to create.

Galea is a longtime creative collaborator of the band but he went the extra mile with this wild, hand-drawn video.

The track is plucked from their third album for the year Sketches of Brunswick East which followed on from Murder Of The Universe and Flying Microtonal Banana.

King Gizzard have announced the lineup for the 2017 edition of Gizzfest, their travelling festival. It features Japanese psych-rockers Kikagaku Moyo, Aussie favourite The Murlocs and more.
