Jack White Is Releasing A Children’s Book Called ‘We’re Going To Be Friends’
Label-head and musician Jack White has announced that he’ll be expanding his repertoire as an entrepreneur by released a children’s picture book.
The book is inspired by The White Stripes classic track ‘We’re Going To Be Friends’ and is set to be released later in 2017.
White has brought animator, songwriter and actress Elinor Blake, known for her work on The Ren & Stimpy Show, as well as her music which she performs and releases under the name April March.
The book will follow the story of Suzy Lee, also a character in the original song by The White Stripes, and her friends as she “goes to school with her books and pens, looks for bugs, shows and tells and finds a friend.”
‘We’re going to be friends will be released on November 9th.
The latest music we heard from Jack White came last month in the form of his single ‘Battle Cry’.
