Have you ever been astounded at your ability to not learn from your mistakes? Like you see yourself committing the same wrong that you thought you learned from, and just sit there completely dumbfounded by your stupidity?
Well, take peace in yourself because no matter how often you repeat your mistakes, your mistake will never be as wild as Ja Rule‘s mistake and you’ll never be as stupid as Ja Rule to plan to repeat it again – which is exactly what he’s doing. The man is trying to make Fyre Festival 2.0. Seriously.
TMZ asked Ja Rule about his thoughts of the hugely successful FYRE documentary on Netflix, and he gave perhaps the most wildly “what-the-f*ck-mate-read-the-room” answer he possibly could’ve given.
“In the midst of chaos, there’s opportunity,” the rapper/alleged scam artist said.
“(Fyre Festival) is the most iconic festival that never was,” he continued. “I have plans to create the Iconic music festival, but you didn’t hear it from me.”
He also expressed his dismay about how the Internet turned the whole thing into one of the most ridiculous memes of all time.
“It’s not funny to me, man,” he said.
“It’s heartbreaking to me. It was something that I really, really wanted to be special and amazing and it just didn’t turn out that way.”
