Tommy Emmanuel, one of Australia’s greatest guitarists, has announced a string of headline shows to go along with his upcoming appearance at Byron Bay Bluesfest in 2019.
The acclaimed axeman will play headline shows in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Mandurah, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney in April, backed by a full band.
Supporting each show will be Nashville’s Grammy-winning dobro guitar master Jerry Douglas, who will also perform the odd song alongside Emmanuel during the tour.
