This is the third movement of CPE Bach Sonata Wq. 50/3 a moll played by V.Sofronitsky on McNulty Stein piano. This instrument is connected with Mozart and Beethoven names and famous for its transparent, but also full sound.
This fortepiano made by Paul McNulty in his workshop in Czech Republic. McNulty Stein piano features in many recordings and is owned by prominent players and leading music institutions. This piano sound is also very good for orchestra continuo use.This particular McNulty Stein sopy instrument was rented by Nikolaus Harnoncourt for his Haydn Creations and other performances.
