Fleet Foxes have returned with their first new music in six years, in the form of a new song called ‘Third of May / Ōdaigahara’, which will feature on an upcoming album called Crack-Up.

‘Third of May / Ōdaigahara’, which you can stream in full below, is a nine-minute odyssey of folk-infused rock that’s packing a whole lot of gorgeous tension and release.

Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold wrote all 11 songs on Crack-Up, which is the follow-up to the band’s 2011 album Helplessness Blues.

Aussie Fleet Foxes fans will be lucky enough to see the band play their first shows in six years at the Sydney Opera House this May, as part of Vivid LIVE 2017.

Crack-Up is set for release on 16th June. Watch the lyric video for ‘Third of May / Ōdaigahara’, below.
