Between all of them, that K.209 is my favourite.
Just to show off, not particular intelligent piece, reminds us terrible TERRIBLY about all other Scarlatti……NOthing more than some scales and some pietti flute spells, added a children melody and rythm as if you were stumbling over each tone.
Favorites:
40:32 Sonata for keyboard in A major, K. 212 (L. 135)
Can you tell me the name of the painting?

This is an except from the integral (!) of the sonatas of Scarlatti registered by Scott Ross. Roos was a mythic harpsichordist. These sonatas are perfectly intepretetd: the tensions due to rythmic dispositions, harmony, use of melodic cells, and the sudden relaxations of tension, are wonderfully mastered.
