Bill Murray Is Releasing An Album Called ‘New Worlds’

Comedian and actor Bill Murray is a man of many talents, and now it seems that he’s revisiting his passion for music with The New York Times reporting that he is set to release an album.

New Worlds is set to be a classical album on which Murray will sing and read literature while a chamber music ensemble performs.

Among other songs he’ll perform tunes from musicals including West Side Story, songs by George Gershwin, and readings from authors including Ernest Hemingway.

The album is being created in collaboration with German cellist Jan Vogler, and will focus on themes of “American history and identity.”

Murray has previously recorded music with Miley Cyrus and Phoenix, and also proved his singing chops on Netflix special ‘A Very Murray Christmas’ in 2015.
