Scottish synth-poppers CHVRCHES have covered a song by fellow Splendour In The Grass act Kendrick Lamar for their latest appearance on triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment.
CHVRCHES — who already have the third most-watched Like A Version of all time — created their own synthed-up version of Lamar’s track ‘LOVE.’, from his Pulitzer Prize-winning album DAMN..
While in the triple j studios, the group also performed their original song ‘Graffiti’, from their latest album Love Is Dead. Watch both performances, below.
CHVRCHES had their recent single ‘Get Out’ covered by Aussie rockers Grinspoon on Like A Version back in May, with frontwoman Lauren Mayberry later telling Music Feeds the experience was “so cool”.
Mayberry and co. are scheduled to perform at Splendour In The Grass at North Byron Parklands on Saturday, 21st July, before playing headline sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
