The Lion King live-action remake has already seen a number of musicians cast including Beyoncé and Donald Glover but US hip-hop trio Migos want to add to that.
One member of the group Quavo has taken to social media to express his interest in playing the hyenas alongside Offset and Takeoff in the remake.
“3 Hyenas Lions King. Call us,” he tweeted, tagging Disney, knowing full well that the cast has already been set in stone.
Unfortunately for Migos, the 2019 film already has its three hyenas. They will be played by Florence Kasumba, Eric André, and Keegan-Michael Key.
The internet, however, has taken the call and run with it, photoshopping Migos onto the hyenas, proving that they are actually the perfect choice.
We have plenty of material, thanks to the internet, to imagine what it would be like with Quavo, Offset and Takeoff as the hyenas. For one, the howls would have to be replaced with “skrr, skrr”.
