Chris Cornell‘s family have shared an emotional Christmas video that the Soundgarden legend shot with his son, Christopher, prior to his tragic death in May of this year.
Sharing the video on Cornell’s official Twitter page, the musician’s widow Vicky explained that the clip was “a special Christmas video” that Chris made with his son “3 years ago for school”.
“While the holidays will never be the same again without Chris, we will always remember his boundless love,” she added. “Happy Holidays & thank you all for your much needed love and support.”
The footage shows Cornell with his kid on his lap speaking about the family’s annual Chrissy traditions, before ending with a montage of family pictures.
“We spend a lot of time with our family and spend a lot of time traveling,” the singer says in the clip. “That’s what we like to do.”
Give it a watch below and keep some tissues handy.
