Following on from Matt and Alex‘s final farewell Breakfast show this morning, a bunch of prominent Aussie musos have reached out to the boys to share their thanks and farewells over social media.
Matt and Alex’s final show this morning was a real tear-jerker, with their very own Like a Version performance (with help from Vera Blue, Elizabeth Rose and KLP), and their official (and so very emotional) farewell speech. It was a morning that tugged at the heart strings, all the way through the laughter and into the tears.
After the boys departed, a stack of messages poured in via social media, with many words of thanks from Aussie musicians. Below are a few of the big Aussie acts who thanked Matt and Alex and bid them their final farewell. Among them are The Delta Riggs, Briggs, Rüfüs and Illy, plus many more.
And may we never forget the boys’ mammoth 5 Raves In 5 days that led us kicking, screaming and partying all the way towards this sad day.
