Adele has reportedly begun writing sessions for her new album, which is apparently slated for a 2019 release.
According to The Sun, Adele has met with music bosses in regards to her fourth studio album, and will spend the next few months writing her next batch of heartfelt tear-jerkers before a planned release at the end of next year.
“She’s back in the UK and intends to write here,” a source told The Sun. “A number of studio musicians have been approached to work with her and she’s already penned some of the songs.”
Adele’s debut Australian tour last year was an absolute cash cow if there ever was one. Over 600,000 people across the country turned out to watch the megastar perform, and she made $252 million from the entire world tour.
Adele’s last album, 25, was released in 2015 and still holds the record for the highest debut week sales ever in any country, selling 3.38 million copies in the United States.
