Watch Carmouflage Rose and George Maple Take On Kanye West For ‘Like A Version’

Rapper Carmouflage Rose and his pal George Maple have taken to the triple j studios to cover Kanye West‘s ‘Heartless’ for the broadcaster’s weekly Like A Version segment.

The pair gave us a stripped-back cover of the 2008 808s & Heartbreak hit, which didn’t stray too far from Kanye’s original, but gained had a more soulful RnB vibe.

George Maple’s lush vocals allowed some smoother breaks throughout the rendition, and Carmouflage Rose ended it with a quick-fire rap verse.

Carmouflage Rose’s national ‘Taste’ EP tour kicks off next month, plus he’s set to play Spilt Milk festival in Canberra, The Grass is Greener in Cairns and Castaway in Perth. His Taste EP is set for release on Friday, 12th October.
