A few years ago Paul Moor was invited to come to Garmisch by Richard Strauss’ grandson Christian.
The Strauss family in Garmisch is allegedly in possession of the only copy of the court report pertaining to the de-nazification (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denazification ) of Dr. Richard Strauss, composer and during Nazi rule president of the Reichsmusikkammer responsible for Musical Art under the Hitler regime.
Was Strauss a Nazi? Some say yes, some say no. Some are certainly more qualified than others to have an opinion on this subject and Paul Moor is one of those extremely well qualified to give a definitive answer on this and many other subjects.
